Privacy Policy

Registration data: name, email address, mobile number, city, date of birth, and profile photo. We also aggregate match performance statistics associated with your profile (runs, wickets, and similar cricket stats).

A. Push notifications: if you enable notifications we store a push token (e.g. a Firebase Cloud Messaging / FCM token) so we can send you match, tournament and auction alerts. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

B. Diagnostics: we collect basic crash and error diagnostics (such as error messages and device/app version) to keep the app stable. This data is used only to operate and improve SportLab.

A. Location: we use your location only if you enable it, and only to show nearby tournaments.

B. Sensitive data: we do not collect or store information regarding race, religion, or health.

You may upload photos (profile pictures, team logos). For tournaments that enable AI auction portraits, your photo can be used to create a stylised auction card — but only with your explicit consent, which you give (or decline) when registering for an auction. Without your consent, your original photo is used and no AI processing takes place.

A. Who processes it: consented photos are sent to Google's Gemini API(a paid service tier on which inputs are not used to train Google's models) for the sole purpose of generating your stylised portrait. No other use is made of your photo by this service.

B. What we store: the generated card images are stored on SportLab servers and shown in the auction experience. Your original photo remains your profile photo, unchanged.

C. Withdrawing consent: you can withdraw at any time in the app (Profile → Settings → AI portrait consent). Withdrawal immediately stops any further AI processing and removes generated cards from display; your original photo is used instead.

We use your data to provide scoring services, run tournaments and auctions, power leaderboards and community features, and communicate with you. We do not sell your personal contact information.

A. Public persona: your player profile, including stats and photos, is publicly visible to other users to enable community features and leaderboards.

B. Advertising: your public profile data and achievements may be featured in SportLab marketing materials or in-app promotion, as described in our Terms.

C. Social sharing: SportLab lets you share links on third-party platforms such as WhatsApp. We are not responsible for data once it is shared outside our services.

Your data is stored on secure cloud servers and is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). By using the app you consent to the storage and processing of your data on these servers, which may be located in other countries.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account in the app, or by emailing us. Deletion is permanent and irreversible and removes your personal profile data (name, email, mobile number, date of birth, city and profile photo). Users under 18 must use the app under parental supervision. SportLab is not directed at children under 13.

You may access and update your profile in the app, control notifications and location permissions on your device, and request deletion of your account. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.
